Sophie earns top Award

We are so proud to share that Sophie has completed her Young Leader Award. This is a huge achievement and Sophie is the first Young Leader at 1st Aylesbury to complete this Award for about 10 years!

This is the culmination of her attending 11 training Modules  and completing four Missions putting into practice areas covered within the courses. The courses included, ‘Making Scouting accessible and inclusive’  and ‘What is a high quality programme?’ all of which she has successfully put into practice within the pack.

Sophie has been a Young Leader at Gates Cub Pack for nearly four years and has developed her leadership skills both while undertaking this Award but also with the encouragement of the adult volunteers. Matt, Chris and Rob have done a fabulous job supporting Sophie.

We are all so very proud of you Sophie, lets hope you’re able to inspire our current Young Leaders to work towards this Award too!!
